A few statistics
- Around 15% of children from the general population and around 45% of those from vulnerable backgrounds have language difficulties.
- Many of them will never have the chance to receive speech therapy.
- Yet language deficits have long-term repercussions on children's socialization, behavior, academic success and psychological well-being!
